:.. The extremely visible Army presence in the streets... we cannot be held tragic consequenc demonstrations! ruzelski CUS for opposition. It vays was, but especially w as Solidarity is underJund. It's the only instituin that symbolises dissent. It doesn't mean what the tholic Church means here Britain or even Ireland. s difficult to explain - it's mething to do with being ilish and having a tradition • opposition to the governent. Young people who irmally wouldn't show eir faces in a church go -ey just go for a bit of lief.
People are very suspicus of leaflets now as there ive been so many cases of ovocation. Provocateurs in crowd, government agents out out let's go on the reets' , then the Zomo are aiting and ready.
there is a group which clared itself pro-Solidary but was very nationalis= (that made me suspicious ¡ it) - called the Confederion of Independent ›and. Its leader got seven ars, and he was on telesion complaining about the ntence.
A sentence like that is nothing compared to what young kids get for throwing stones. He was obviously a government put-up job.

Russia has an economic stranglehold on Poland - the obvious result of Reagan's boycott has been that now Kussiaet everything from If the Polish government didn't do what the Russians wantea, Polana would starve. The Russians don' need to invade - they can do better, they train their people, brainwash them send them back to Poland and can cut supplies of anything off.
Still, I think there, are Russians here - my friend was stopped not long after the war started by the military and there were two men cannot was for the Party for Solidarity! I am for Junta!?
